cases.

Rescue & Transport - We are dedicated to rescue,
adoption and the medical care of stray and homeless Chihuahuas
in need, and to help control the growing overpopulation

Coastal Poodle Rescue - Rehabilitates unwanted, abused and abandoned poodles and then places them in loving and responsible homes to live out their lives as cherished family members. (Melbourne, Florida)
Cocker
Spaniel/ Small Dog Rescue of Central Florida - Run
by a small group of dedicated, unpaid volunteers. Most
of our dogs come from local animal shelters where rescue
organizations like ours are considered a "last resort." This
means that we are called upon to rescue the dog after it
has not been claimed or adopted, and is scheduled to be
euthanized. (Within 200-mile radius of Orlando, Florida)

& Cats Forever - Rescues abandoned, neglected and unwanted
pets in effort to eliminate a growing population of homeless
animals in St. Lucie County. The animals at our facility are
available for adoption to loving homes and those animals considered
un-adoptable will live out their life comfortably at our 10.2
acre no-kill facility in western Port St. Lucie.

is a no-kill shelter located near Cocoa, Florida and is
currently no longer accepting ferrets except for listing

Coast Greyhound Adoptions Orlando - A non-profit all
volunteer organization, that is racing neutral and dedicated
to the placement of retired racing greyhounds into qualified,
caring and loving homes. It is our mission to educate the
public regarding the gentle nature and wonderful temperament
of the greyhound breed.

Rescue of Mid-Florida, Inc. - Dedicated to giving displaced

Retriever Rescue of Florida, Inc. - A dedicated group
of volunteers working to ensure their rescues are provided

Little
Angels Rescue - A private, no-kill, non-profit small
breed, dog rescue organization based in Arcadia, Florida.
We specialize in finding homes for both purebred and mixed
breed dogs. (Arcadia)
The
Little Cats' Rescue, Inc. - An all volunteer staff
with foster homes and "the sanctuary," where the "lifers" and
those awaiting Petsmart space or to be adopted from here,
live happily and freely together, uncaged. It is a member
of No More Homeless Pets and The Animal Coalition of Tampa.

Orange
County Animal Services - Lists photographs of the animals
that are current guests at the shelter. Each animal,
pending acceptable temperament testing and health screen, may
be available for adoption. Also has other types of animals
available, such as hamsters. (Orange County)
Purrs
and Whiskers Shelter, Inc. (PAWS) - A non-profit 501
(c) 3, all-volunteer organization, dedicated to assisting
cats and kittens through its rescue, foster, and adoption
activities. We find loving homes for unwanted, abandoned,
homeless, or abused cats and kittens. (Located in Melbourne)

Animals in Need (R.A.I.N.) - Dedicated to rescuing cats
and dogs from local animal shelters, individuals who no longer
want
or cannot
care for their pets, and animals who live their lives as strays.

Animal Shelter - The shelter is committed to providing
a safe haven for strays and unwanted pets, and to help
reduce the

SPCA Lakeland - The SPCA located in Lakeland, FL is committed to providing aid, comfort, and relief to abandoned or suffering animals, and to placing surrendered pets in safe, loving and lifetime homes.

Suncoast - From its inception in 1964 to the present,
the SPCA Suncoast has grown into a facility which offers
many services for homeless and abused animals. (New Port Richey)

Animal League - A non-profit, no-kill animal rescue
agency, taking in abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted
animals. Started by Rick Chaboudy, who was Director of the

Society -
Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood. SHS
cares for more than 4,700 lost,
abused, and abandoned animals annually. It exists to reduce
the numbers of homeless animals and improve the quality
of human

Tampa Bay GSD Rescue - An all volunteer non-profit pet rescue organization for German Shepherd Dogs. (Riverview)
Tropical
Feline Rescue Inc. - A small 501(c)(3)
non profit rescue group dedicated to saving homeless cats
at risk of euthanasia across Florida. It is not a shelter and
do not accept owner turn ins or strays. (Hudson)
